Sales Development Representative - Plum

What is the role?

You will be working as an Outbound Business Associate with the sales development and work on building the sales pipeline. You will be responsible for making an outreach to prospective customers, identifying high value opportunities, and managing the early sales funnel activities. We have 2 positions for this role with 1 focused for US market and will involve working in night shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate interest in Xoxoday product(s) through outbound calls daily
  • Qualify prospects based on their current business challenges and needs using targeted and relevant questions
  • Meet or exceed qualified lead/demos quota every month
  • Develop relationships at all levels from Head of HR, CIOs, Chief People Officer, just to name a few.
  • Prospect, penetrate and create new relationships with Enterprise companies and agencies by phone
  • Identify, initiate, and nurture relationships with prospects both over the phone and via email
  • Qualify and allocate leads for the Account Executives  
  • Develop and sustain knowledge of Xoxoday’s offerings and associated technologies
  • Identify and understand trends within industries, what makes a campaign successful and apply this knowledge to help generate further new business
  • Provide feedback to improve marketing and sales efforts

  • 2-3 years inside sales experience in Sales and Pipeline development roles in SaaS based B2B software preferred
  • BSc/BA/BCom/BBA degree or equivalent
  • Be self-motivated and results driven
  • Great listening skills and a desire to learn proper consultative selling techniques
  • High-energy and positive attitude
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask while maintaining a high quality of work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence to overcome objections and convert interest into qualified
