From setup to first recognition

Admin setup

    Go to the Teams admin center → Teams Apps → Setup Policies → Global (Org-wide default)

    Add Empuls under Installed Apps

    Pin Empuls under Pinned Apps for the app bar and message extensions

    Save. Empuls appears for all employees with the next policy sync.

Employee experience

Em Bot is the Empuls bot inside Teams. Employees message it in a 1:1 chat to redeem points, check their points balance, view team reports, and manage rewards, without leaving Teams.
Yes. In the Empuls admin dashboard under Integrations → Microsoft Teams, you can connect a specific Teams channel to receive award posts, appreciations, birthdays, and anniversaries.
Yes. Authentication uses your existing Microsoft 365 credentials. The required permissions are User.Read, email, openid, profile, and offline_access.
Recognitions made from the Empuls web or mobile app do not automatically post to Teams channels. Only recognitions sent from within Teams are published to the channel.
Yes. You can customize the app name and icon from the Teams admin console under Manage Apps → Empuls → Customization.
