Step 1

Employee records sync from UKG

New hires, transfers, and terminations flow from UKG to Empuls automatically. Empuls profiles stay aligned with UKG as the primary HR system.

Step 2

Celebrations trigger on the right day

Birthdays and work anniversaries are pulled from UKG. Empuls sends the celebration without requiring HR to manage a separate calendar.

Step 3

Recognition follows the org hierarchy

Peer nominations and award approvals route through the reporting structure in UKG. Multi-level approvals are respected at each step.

Step 4

Rewards reach the right inbox

Reward links go to the email on record in UKG. Leavers are deactivated before any pending reward can be claimed.

Both UKG Pro and UKG Ready. They use slightly different credentials (UKG Pro uses your UKG Pro URL, UKG Ready uses your Company Short Name), but the integration model, sync cadence, and capabilities are the same.
Every 24 hours, automatically. You can also schedule the initial sync, or trigger a manual sync from the Xoxoday admin console.
First name, last name, official email, employee code or ID, grade, department, designation, date of birth, date of joining, mobile number, business unit, cost center, and location. First name, email, and status are mandatory.
Read-only UKG permissions: company configuration, employee fields, person, contact, employment info, termination, export, and details (for UKG Pro). For UKG Ready: Employee Information, Account and Personal Information, and Reports.
One-way. UKG is where the data lives, Xoxoday reads from it. Recognition, reward, and survey activity captured in Xoxoday stays in Xoxoday. We do not write back to UKG.
Yes. Once the field mapping is complete, download a CSV of the data Xoxoday will pull. Check it against your UKG dataset before triggering the first sync.
When the termination date or status changes in UKG, Xoxoday removes the employee from the active list on the next sync.
