Step 1

Employee records sync from Workday

New joiners, role changes, and exits flow from Workday to Empuls automatically. Empuls profiles stay in sync with Workday as the single source of truth.

Celebrations trigger on the right day

Birthdays and work anniversaries are read directly from Workday. Empuls sends the celebration on the correct date without any HR intervention.

Step 3

Recognition follows the org hierarchy

Peer nominations and award approvals route through the reporting structure in Workday. The right manager approves at every level.

Step 4

Rewards reach the right inbox

Reward links go to the email on record in Workday. When an employee exits, Empuls deactivates them before any pending reward can be claimed.

Every 24 hours, automatically. You can also trigger a manual sync from the Xoxoday admin console.
Required: employee ID, email, first name, and status. Optional: last name, department, department head email, designation, grade, HR email, manager email, cost centre, cost centre head email, business unit, site or location, joining date, date of birth, and contact number. Your Workday admin controls what gets included in the custom report.
Workday HRIS implementations vary across enterprises. A custom report lets your Workday team control exactly which fields ship to Xoxoday, with the right filters and visibility rules for your org. It is the standard pattern for enterprise Workday integrations.
Your Workday team. We provide the field specification and a sample report structure. Once built, you share the report URL and credentials with our partnerships team and we handle the backend integration.
One-way. Workday is where the data lives, Xoxoday reads from it. Recognition, reward, and survey activity captured in Xoxoday stays in Xoxoday. We do not write back to Workday.
When the employee status changes in Workday (typically to disabled or terminated), Xoxoday removes the employee from the active list on the next sync.
